Worship and Music
As we raise our voices in worship and as we bow our heads in prayer, we joyfully ascribe all honor, glory and power to God who gives us our lives and faith. We respond and give thanks to God every Sabbath at 11:00 in the morning. We celebrate the seasons of faith throughout the year, observing God’s work through Jesus Christ with special services and personal worship. Join our congregation in worship in our beautiful sanctuary. Our new Allen Renaissance 300 organ with antiphonal was installed in 2001. Outside chimes ring from our steeple at 12:30pm and 6:30pm everyday. The current sanctuary was built in 1950 and renovated in 1998. The campus covers 45 acres of land including a ball field, cemetery, outdoor vespers area, fellowship hall, education building and new covered outdoor pavilion next to the ball field. We have easy access to all of our facilities and adequate, convenient parking. Appropriate liturgical season worship opportunities are available to you. These include Christmas Eve services with traditional candlelight and communion and a new family child-friendly service in the early evening. We welcome the resurrection at the Easter Sunrise Service with a full country breakfast that follows. On Maundy Thursday we gather to remember Christ’s sacrifice for us and share in his Supper. Thanksgiving brings us together in an ecumenical worship service with area neighboring churches. If you are unable to come to the sanctuary for worship, we can provide you with a CD of each Sunday’s service brought to your home. Hearing aids are available. A nursery for our younger friends is provided. Come worship with us! The Music Program at Prospect Presbyterian Church
offers opportunities for musical and spiritual growth and
fellowship. The groups and ensembles participate in worship
services. For more information about the music program or to find

Melody Morrison @ 704-660-3569 Adult Handbells: Plays in worship and special events. They practice on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Contemporary Praise Group: Small group of singers and guitarists who sing together for fun and to lead periodically in worship.
